If there is one thing that's necessary for Assassin's Creed Mirage, it's the ability to pickpocket. While pickpocketing gives you an adrenaline rush, it's also an important aspect of the game if you want to earn money and tokens, which you'll definitely need throughout the game.
Pickpocketing isn't necessarily hard, but you will probably mess it up at times, but that's all part of the Assassin's Creed Mirage experience! Nonetheless, we'll show you how to properly pickpocket, so you won't have to start running every time you attempt to steal something. AC Mirage: How To Pickpocket
In order to pickpocket in Assassin's Creed Mirage, you'll basically just need to follow three basic steps.
Pick A Target
Your first step to pickpocketing in Assassin's Creed Mirage is pretty obvious. You'll need to choose an NPC that you want to pickpocket. Any NPC with a pouch behind them can be pickpocketed. Once you've chosen your target, get behind them and check if the pouch is glowing. If so, then it is available to pickpocket.
Pickpocket
As soon as you've successfully selected your target, press the pickpocket button as soon as it pops up in order to start the pickpocketing minigame. Succeeding in the minigame will also mean that your pickpocket attempt will be successful.
Pickpocket Minigame
Once you've pressed the pickpocket button, the pickpocket minigame will start (try saying that quickly 5 times). The game is pretty easy. All you have to do is stop the line inside the shown shape to succeed. While the principle of the game may be easy, you'll probably mess up the minigame at least once.
Here's a good tip for you if you fail: RUN!

AC Mirage: How To Guarantee Pickpocket Success
If you're not a fan of the pickpocket minigame, or the fact that you can actually fail while pickpocketing, then we've got a way that will guarantee your pickpocket success 100% of the time!
In order to achieve that, you'll have to go into the AC Mirage options menu and then head to the Gameplay tab. You'll find the "Guarantee Pickpocket" option under the "Combat & Stealth" section. Just change the settings to "on" and you're good to go! By enabling this option, you'll turn off the pickpocket minigame and ensure that each and every pickpocket attempt will be a success!
Of course, if you ever find yourself missing the adrenaline boost of being caught, you can turn off the guarantee pickpocket option at any time.
