The MX Guardian Shotgun is the new weapon that arrived in Season 4: Reloaded in mid-July. It's fully automatic and can use explosive rounds, which makes it incredible at close-quarters, but it can also be built to have ridiculously good range. Here is the best MX Guardian Loadout for Warzone, as well as a guide on how to unlock the weapon.
During each new season of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 we get a midseason patch, the "Reloaded" updated. Season 4: Reloaded introduced a new shotgun into the game called the MX Guardian. It's great for short and medium range depending on what attachments you use. Which means a shotgun meta is upon us.
Sadly, that means you're going to need some shotgun loadouts. You can find a guide on how to unlock the MX Guardian below, as well as the best MX Guardian loadout.
Before we go any further, here's a short demonstration on just how powerful the MX Guardian can be at mid-range. At 52 meters this shotgun can down a triple plated enemy in 5 shots to the lower body or 4 shots to the neck/head:

Warzone MX Guardian: How To Unlock The New Weapon
Unlocking the MX Guardian is pretty easy. Before the Season 4 Reloaded update there was a CLASSIFIED sector in the Battle Pass that players couldn’t unlock. Well, now you can! And the MX Guardian is part of this sector’s rewards.
To access this sector, you have to unlock one of the adjacent nodes, so one of D2, D3, D4, D5, D6 or D7. Now, things are getting a bit trickier. Unlike a usual sector, in this special one you have to unlock the items by completing challenges. Earn all sector rewards, and you can call the MX Guardian your own.
If you don't own the game yet, get Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 on Amazon for the fastest weapon levelling.
Here are all challenges and rewards in the CLASSIFIED sector:
- Dependable Emblem: Get 10 ADS Operator Kills with Shotguns.
- Gunfire Calling Card: Get 10 Hipfire Operator Kills with Shotguns.
- Fanning Hutch Loading Screen: Get 10 Headshot Operator Kills with Shotguns.
- 1 Hour Double Weapon XP Token: Get 10 One Shot Operator Kills with Shotguns.
- MX Guardian: Earn All Sector Rewards Above, then get 30 Point Blank kills.

This is your classic / aggressive shotgun build: it's full-auto, fires explosive ammo, and still has decent range for a shotgun. This build is all about finding a balance between keeping the damage and range high, while also making allowances for increased mobility and handling.
For this build we recommend taking the Lachmann 556 as your secondary weapon.

And we advise the following perks and grenades:

Smokes are great for crossing the open, going to the buy station, and getting teammates revived, so these are a no-brainer. For the lethal slot you can use whatever you feel comfortable with but remember that with Throwing Knives equipped your melee is buffed, which is a huge advantage for underwater combat.
Now to talk about Perks. We obviously need to take Overkill to have a secondary weapon, and we think Bomb Squad is the easiest flat buff to benefit from. For our bonus perk we went Fast Hands to be able to swap to other weapon more quickly, but Resupply would also be a good choice here. In the Ultimate slot we've gone for High Alert because Ghost was nerfed in the most recent patch notes.
