The wait is over. The OG Chapter 1 map will finally return in Chapter 4 Season 5. We are hyped!
Fortnite, developed by Epic Games, came on to the scene initially as a co-op survival game. However, it truly took off with the release of its free Battle Royale mode, where 100 players fought to be the last one standing on a vibrant island. The original map, known as "Battle Royale Island," became iconic, with locations like Tilted Towers and Loot Lake etching themselves into gaming history.

Fortnite Chapter 1 Map Is Making A Return Soon!
According to the biggest leaker in Fortnite, HYPEX, the original map from Chapter 1 will be returning soon, as well as OG weapons:
A reliable source claimed a day before S4 that Chapter 1 returns in S5 due to the time machine breaking, and that we'll cycle through ch1 seasons for a month with constant map changes and OG weapons / loot pool, until the blackhole, and then we go into Chapter 5.

But that's not all. In fact, some Fortnite creators have already received direct hints from Epic Games. For instance, the creator Salvatretzzo received a CD on the back of which the Chapter 1 Map is depicted.

To this, they wrote the following words:
"Thank you for supporting us from the beginning and for being part of Fortnite's origins. Now you have the opportunity to start again. There's just one question: Where we dropping?"
Hypex also mentions that in Season 5, the tactical sprinting and climbing will be deactivated to bring back the OG-feeling.
Through some leaks and insider information, we know that Season 4 will end on November 3 andChapter 5 will start in early December. Therefore, many already wondered what could happen in the time in between, but now it all makes sense.
The return to the roots of Fortnite, with its iconic landscapes and hidden secrets, will be like a journey down memory lane. It's a chance to relive the early days of the game, and for many, it will be a welcome opportunity to reconnect with friends and reignite the passion for Fortnite.
