The anime follows Tanjiro Kamado as he joins the Demon Slayer Corps to avenge his family and find a cure for his sister, Nezuko, who has turned into a demon. The thing that really stands out with show is the breathtaking animation, combined with an intriguing world set in Taisho era of Japan, with a nice mix of traditional Japanese themes in a modernizing world.

Demon Slayer Season 4: Release Date & First Look

The third season of Demon Slayer finished its run in June 2023, but with the gripping final episode, fans were treated with a little twist and couldn't wait for season 4 to hit.

Season 3 finished strong by confirming season 4, showcasing the strongest Hashira being all set up for taking on the rest of the Upper Moons.

Season 4 releases way earlier than anyone expected: special screenings start on February 2, 2024 in Tokyo and continue until February 25 in Hong Kong and London. So, the debut of season 4 will follow the third season's recipe.

We'll keep you posted as soon as there are release dates for streaming services!

Take a look at the promo reel in the meantime:

For those of you that are curious, we're talking about the Hashira Training story arc from the manga. In this arc we will see Tanjiro train with the strongest Demon Slayer, Gyomei Himejima, to prepare for future battles – the calm before the storm, if you will.

We will also finally get some backstory for the Water Hashira Giyu Tomioka as well as a re-introduction of the Wind Hashira Sanemi Shinazugawa. It looks like we might get some more time with the Snake Hashira Obanai Iguro as well, so stay tuned.

The story is really giving us more and more time with those powerhouses, and we're loving every second of it!

Obviously, the demons will be up to something as well, as Muzan continues his search for a way to survive sunlight.

For the time being, there's nothing left to do but wait for season 4 to hit the screens – thankfully, February isn't that far away.
