The official FIFA 23 cover is revealed: Paris Saint-Germain's Kylian Mbappé has tied the hat-trick and, together with Chelsea's Sam Kerr, is the star for the upcoming Ultimate Edition.
Mbappé will be the solo star on the standard versions – except in Australia and New Zealand.
It's the question of all questions long before the new FIFA 23 will be released in fall: who is the cover star?
EA has officially announced the new FIFA cover, at first for the Ultimate Edition. You can see Kylian Mbappé from Paris Saint-Germain and Sam Kerr from Chelsea FC. The French high-flyer completes his third cover appearance
Now, it is also clear who can be seen on the standard versions: Kylian Mbappé will be the worldwide face for FIFA 23. Or at least almost worldwide.
FIFA 23 Cover: Kylian Mbappé For The Third Time In A Row
After FIFA 21 and FIFA 22, the PSG superstar is now tying up his hat-trick and is the star of the standard edition for the third time in a row. This makes him one of the players most often featured as a star on FIFA's cover. Mbappé says about the new FIFA:
I'm proud to be on the cover of FIFA for the third time and I'm even happier to share the cover with a great player like Sam Kerr. As a huge fan of the game, I'm looking forward to the last FIFA and can't wait to see you all on the pitch.
His colleague Sam Kerr is the face for the versions in down under. The Australian national team's record goalscorer is featured on FIFA 23 in New Zealand and in her home country Australia.

FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition Cover With Kylian Mbappé And Sam Kerr
We assume that Mbappé will not only look good on the cover, but also will be among the best top 100 players in FIFA 23. Having Sam Kerr on board is something very special: Not only is she the first woman ever on a FIFA cover, she also might announce women's clubs in FIFA 23. At least, that would make sense, as she is shown in a kit of Chelsea FC. So far, we've only seen national teams – we're excited to see what's waiting for us.
