Gamer brains sometimes operate in surprisingly predictable ways. Whether it's collectibles, hidden boss fights, or multiple story endings, many gamers strive to collect them all. Developers have also understood this and incorporate it into a reward system that makes our happy synapses ring: Achievements and trophies.

How difficult it is to earn these coveted reward emblems is left to each game itself. This inevitably leads to some games making the simple acquisition of achievements their unique selling point.

Easiest Platinum Trophies and 100% Achievements

If you really want to show off to your Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation friends, the best way to do it is with a well-stocked list of platinum trophies and 100% achievements. Some games make it easier for you than others. Here's a small selection of games where you can quickly grind the rarest achievements:

Burly Men At Sea (25 trophies in 2.5 h)

The combination of a visual novel and point-and-click adventure allows you to become the narrator of a Scandinavian story about bearded fishermen. Since the game features a branching story, you'll need to play it multiple times to unlock all the achievements.

The game is available on Nintendo Switch (though without achievements there), PC, PlayStation, and Android.

Brotherhood United (18 trophies in 2 hours)

This game is a shoot 'em up side-scroller that, gameplay-wise, is not that easy. Nevertheless, a whopping 76.1% of players on PlayStation have achieved the Platinum Trophy, so you should definitely check out the game if you want to expand your collection. To get all the trophies, you have to achieve a certain number of objectives, including shooting down enemies and rescuing hostages. Everyday hero stuff.

The game is available on Nintendo Switch (though without achievements there), PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.

Mr. Massagy (34 trophies in 1.5 hours)

How the heck can I describe this game? It's a dating simulator with a massage function... That sounds more than wrong, but it's true. In Mr. Massagy, you date several single women and unlock various vibration patterns on your game pad in the process. The Platinum Trophy is awarded when you have unlocked them all, so... have fun.

The game is available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.

My Name Is Mayo (51 trophies in 1h)

Another game from Green Lava Studios. Is a pattern emerging here? For this game, you have to put in an absolute minimum of effort, as it is a simple clicker game. For certain milestones of your click frenzy, you get achievements. The game has become quite well-known among trophy hunters, even advertising that you can easily unlock achievements.

The game is available on Nintendo Switch (though without achievements there), PC, and PlayStation.

This game is a colorful platformer that makes it incredibly easy to obtain the Platinum Trophy. You'll automatically unlock almost all achievements, and playing the game itself probably won't even take you an hour. Don't expect too much gameplay enjoyment though, as the game has pretty mixed reviews. However, it's good for getting the Platinum Trophy.

The game is available on Nintendo Switch (though without achievements there), PC, PlayStation and Xbox.

So, have you filled your shopping cart yet? Then good luck on the trophy hunt and think of me when you click your fingers sore with My Name is Mayo. Or...don't. Yeah, please don't.
