Jon wrote his BA and MA in English Literature at Exeter and LMU respectively before joining EarlyGame as a writer who focuses on Call of Duty, as well as other shooters including Apex, Battlefield and XDefiant. Now a Senior Content Manager and Head of Pull Content, and with over 1,500 articles published for EarlyGame, he still hasn't lost his passion for Call of Duty and for writing about shooters.
Jon is also head of the Codes category, a keen writer on gaming and entertainment topics (especially whenever Tolkien's name is mentioned) and host of the EarlyGame Podcast. The official EarlyGame Podcast is released weekly, and you can tune in to hear Jon and co-host Faris dissect the latest news, argue over what the "real Game of the Year" is, and bemoan the decline of non-BR shooters.
