LoL: Dantes For Fun Tournament Goes Up In Flames – Racism, Sexism & Suicide

The drama in the Dantes Tournament started with cheating accusations, but it got worse very fast. A lot worse.

On the 15th December, famous League of Legends twitch streamer Dantes started his Dantes Invitational Tournament. It was meant to be a For Fun Tournament, with the teams consisting of ex-pro players and lower elo players.

Of course, a bit of drama was to be expected, as tensions can rise up quickly in such tournaments. Streamers like TF Blade or Tarzaned aren't known for their nice behavior online anyway. But things escalated quickly and what was discovered was worse than anyone could imagine.

Dantes Tournament Drama: How Did It Start?

Team Humzh was one of the contestants of the Dantes Invitational Tournament. Some Players on the team are well known as they were streamers, but especially the Top Laner was relatively unknown. She went by the name Cvnka on Twitch and averaged around 100 viewers.

After playing versus Team Tarzaned, Tarzaned himself accused Cvnka of cheating since she apparently played a lot better than any silver player, which she made out to be. The accusations were valid as Cvnka was absolutely destroying even ex-lcs pro players and high elo streamers alike. Dantes then tried to calm down the both parties and offered Cvnka of streaming with a hand cam to prove that nothing suspicious is going on. Cvnka, pleading that she is innocent, refused to do so, which made her seem even more suspicious.

Dantes has then decided to disqualify Cvnka from playing in the tournament and has allowed Team Humzh to play with another top laner. They refused and decided to drop out of the tournament. But this wasn't the end of Cvnka as people tried to find out more about her. Little did they know they would find something a lot darker than just League of Legends cheating.

Who Was SilSol?

SilSol is the name of an account that has reached Challenger Rank 1 on the North American League of Legends back in the early days. Multiple pro players remember playing with him back in the day.

SilSol was known for his off-meta play style. After Season 3 he has most likely quit and turned to posting memes on Reddit and playing other games.

Afterward, the SilSol Account was a shared account between multiple players like the now retired Adrian Ma, who used to play on Team Echo Fox. He even made a Reddit AMA with the SilSol Account, showing that he was logged in and playing.

The next person getting hold of the account was Cvnka who has played on it semi regularly and keeping the account around silver elo.

Who Is Cvnka?

Cvnka is a twitch streamer that plays mostly League of Legends and some variety games. She has an edgy personality and a bit of dark humor.

After the accusations in the tournament, multiple people have come forth and accused her of more stuff including racism, sexism and forcing people to do self harm and more.

Trigger Warning: Mentions of racism, sexism, transphobia, self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, emotional abuse, and animal abuse.

Turns out Cvnka had a very interesting past where she was part of multiple cults and said a lot of dangerous stuff. The Twitter user @priscxlla has made an extensive document showing off everything that Cvnka had done in her past.

In her past she has had a slew of racist and transphobic comments as well as pictures of animal abuse and harassment towards other minority groups. This was all quite a few years ago, and Cvnka has said that she was in an edgy teenager phase at that point.

More recent were her involvements in two different cults. Cvnka has ties to the Blue Whale Cult, as well as supposed ties to the KALIACC cult.

The Blue Whale Cult is a cult around the Blue Whale Challenge which emerged in Russia at the end of 2016. It consists of 50 daily challenges that include self harm and crowns in the last challenge where the contestant is tasked to kill themselves. People have thought this to be a Hoax, but through media coverage it became an actual thing and re-emerged in 2020 through social media like TikTok and Instagram.

The KaliAcc Cult or Kali Yuga Accelerationism was a group of online supremacists that were deep into esoteric and cult-like activities. It revolved around Delusions and Angelic/Vaporwave imagery. Members of the group encouraged each other to starve and self harm. The Group was led by a person called Miya, who now goes by Charlotte Fang.

Cvnka still has the words BlueWhaleCult in her business mail, but claims it is because her Twitch Vtuber avatar is an Eldritch being that needs a cult and her reference to Blue Whale is just edgy.

The Document shared on X (formerly known as Twitter) has multiple screenshots which mention her or are supposed to be proof, but Cvnka has gone over the document on a stream and debunked some of it.

She confesses to having said slurs and transphobic comments in the past as well as catfishing, but claims that this has ended a long time ago.

Cvnka claims that she has and had no association with KaliAcc and had some very good arguments for her case. Whether you believe her or not is up to you. She has also said that she wouldn't have cared about the document if it wasn't about Team Humzh and how it would fall back on them.

To summarize:

  • Cvnka has said lots of questionable stuff in her past including Racism, Sexism, Transphobia and more
  • Cvnka has made people harm themselves
  • She claims to have grown up out of her edgy teenager phase but shows little to no remorse
  • She claims to have had multiple personalities and also catfished others
  • Cvnka claims that she has never had ties to KaliAcc

How Does The Drama End?

Cvnka doesn't care about the allegations and the outcome of the drama, but she has apologized to Team Humzh and Dantes for the damage to the image of the tournament. Altough she has apologized for some of the things she has done, she didn't show a lot of remorse. She has her own community and will continue her life as it was.

SilSol has come back to Reddit after a 5-year break and has confirmed that he is not Cvnka and wishes that she stops impersonating him.

Dantes has also made a statement and blamed Cvnka for the whole drama. He didn't want to platform her anymore, even after she has cleared some allegations. Dantes, who has also had old controversies, would've even looked over her troubling past, but as she “lacked integrity” in his words, he didn't want her on his stream any longer. Team Humzh had got the chance to pick another top laner, but they declined.
