The 2023 LoL Worlds are just around the corner and as usual we are getting a Worlds-themed event in the client. Let's go over everything we know so far.
With every League of Legends World Championship comes a big event. This year is no different and the information regarding the upcoming LoL Worlds 2023 Event have already been revealed to the public.
If you want to get some cool rewards for Worlds 2023, and not just by watching the games, you can also play League. Of course, you'll need the Battle Pass to make use of all the possible rewards, so let's check out whether it's worth it this year for you.
LoL Worlds 2023 Event: Start Date And Duration
The LoL Worlds 2023 Event is going to start on October 11, 2023. This aligns perfectly with the League of Legends World Championship start as well which is going to be October 10, 2023. LoL Patch 13.20 is going to drop on October 11, 2023 which is why the event will start a day after Worlds begins.
The Worlds 2023 event is going to last until November 27, 2023, with the loot shop staying open until December 4, 2023. This means you can redeem your tokens until a few days after the event ends as usual with LoL client events.
LoL Worlds 2023 Event Pass & Bundle
This year, as with previous years and other events, Riot has two offers. Either the Battle Pass for the event or the Pass Bundle. For super high spenders out there, Riot has also revealed the Premium Pass Bundle which will include even more goodies.
Thankfully, if you wanted to pick up the Event Pass or Bundle you can earn monthly RP through Amazon and Prime Gaming (with a prime account )!

LoL Worlds 2023 Event Pass Rewards
Of course, if you spend money on the event pass you'll also want to know what you can earn. You can check out the entire list of rewards on the official Riot Games event page with the 50 milestones players can reach before they have the infinite repeatable missions.

If you want to get your hands on Coven Akali and her prestige version, then you will have to buy the Event Pass and make it until Milestone 47, which is when you reach 2,000 Tokens in total, which is how much the Akali prestige skin will cost.
LoL Worlds 2023 Event Missions
Riot also added in Worlds event missions which will earn players experience on the battle pass. These missions are available for everyone, even those who didn't spend money on the Worlds Event Pass or Bundle.
Riot have also added in new "missions with meaning", stating that for every "100 Worlds 2023 in-game missions players complete, the Riot Games Social Impact Fund will contribute $1 to expand reforestation and landscape restoration". So now LoL players can do something good just by playing the game!
The missions will start on October 11, 2023 and will end by November 27, 2023.

Players will also get 200 LoL Event XP for every 200 points they earn, no matter if they win or lose games.

You will be able to purchase skins, chromas, and icons in the LoL Worlds 2023 Event Shop. The shop will be open until December 4, 2023 so make sure you pick up everything you need by then because after that your event tokens will expire.
It seems that one more secret skin line will also make an appearance with this LoL Event. Riot revealed all the Coven skins and the Coven Mega Bundle, but have also added another skin line which will be available in LoL Patch 13.22, so from November 8, 2023 onward.
