The schedule change for Nightingales early access release has just been announced by their development team, Inflexion Games. The unexpected surprise caused excitement among fans who will now be able to play the game two days earlier, but also offers some advantages for the development team, after release.
Nightingale Will Release Earlier Than Planned
Nightingale was initially planned to enter early access through steam on February 22, 2024. But a recent announcement by developer, Inflexion Games, has revealed a change in the schedule, bringing the release date forward to February 20. Now, fans will be able to enter the Portal network two days in advance via Steam.
In their official statement, the Nightingale team explains how the schedule change will not only benefit their players, but also help them by giving the team “a head start in addressing any issues at launch before the busy weekend period.”
From Friday to Saturday last weekend, Inflexion Games hosted a server stress test, to see how the servers are holding up and to gain player feedback, bug reports, and basic troubleshooting ahead of launch. The team has now expressed their satisfaction with the test results and announced to share some updates in a development update next week.
