Like every year, Fortnite is launching a summer event, this time called Summer Escape! We'll show you what to expect.
Summertime is here! And to celebrate with Fortnite players, there's another special summer event this season. Join us for the Summer Escape event from 3pm on 4 July until 18 July. Special missions, thirst-quenching rewards and more await you here. Let's dive in!

New Summer Skins
As in every summer event, we can of course expect new, summery skins that will gradually appear in the item shop. Some of them have already been leaked and look really incredible! You can take a look at some of the skins below.
Quests and Free Rewards
What would a Fortnite event be without exciting quests and some free cosmetics? Every day a new quest will be released and will award you with either XP or a summery cosmetic! iFireMonkey has already posted all the quests and their associated rewards:

New Items and Map Changes
As always, the map will be decorated in a summery way with a few beach balls and parasols. But what is even more exciting are the new items that are coming into the game. Among other things, the waffle ice cream instant items and the firework flare gun may come back to the island.
In addition, a new item has been leaked, the "Slap Splashes". Similar to the Chilli Splashes, they fill up your Green and Blue Life and give you a little speed boost.
