The Bear comes back for Season 3! That's really the only way to celebrate the bonkers success the first two seasons had. Here's a healthy serving of all the info we have on the new season, including the confirmed release window, the cast and any other news you could possibly need.
If you're like me (read: burning your kitchen down when making a salad, just like in The Sims while also enjoying some quality shows), you'll be delighted to hear that The Bear has been renewed for season 3. I'll leave a generous tip for that! Nothing better than drama, comedy and good food.
Television and food enthusiasts alike are highly anticipating season 3, and the wait shall soon be over. If you've somehow ended up here without knowing what the hell I'm talking about, here's a quick starter guide: Following the death of his brother, the young chef Carmy leaves the fine dining world to run The Bear, a sandwich shop in Chicago. You'll have to watch the rest yourself, and I highly encourage you to do so!
The Bear Season 3: Release Window
Just like we predicted, The Bear Season 3 is set to release in June 2024. With that, they keep up the tradition of the summer releases, just one year after the last season. We don't have the exact release date yet, but how about another prediction: our money's on June 20, 2024.
According to showrunner Christopher Storer, he already has special plans for season 3. In an interview with Esquire, he spilled the beans (get it? Food joke?) about how Ayo Edebiri (who plays Sydney in the show) will be directing a few episodes for the upcoming season.
The Bear Season 3 | Returning Cast
The Bear would be nothing without its fantastic staff, and the show would be nothing without the actors bringing the restaurant to life (and the dramedy to the screens).
Of course, Jeremy Allen White returns as Carmy and Abby Elliot reprises her role as Natalie. We hope Molly Gordon will return as Claire, as her character and Carmy have a relationship to fix. Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Ayo Edebiri have been confirmed to return as Richie and Sydney. But the extended cast, like Lionel Boyce and Liza Colón-Zayas as Marcus and Tina need to keep The Bear going as well.
As Donna's issues are quite concerning in the season 2 finale, it's pretty save to say that Jamie Lee Curtis will reprise her role as well – there's lots of stuff for Donna to fix and Curtis did an amazing job portraying that character.
For the time being, though, let's all raise our glasses to the renewal of The Bear! Rest assured that we'll keep you updated on the latest news.
