After the first 5-weeks of LCK action, the viewership numbers are out and there is one team sitting at the top of fans hearts. Is anyone even surprised at this point that it's T1?
The 2024 LCK Spring Split is heating up, with the top teams establishing themselves as the ones to beat. With the first five weeks under our belt, it's also interesting to look at the viewership and which teams pull in the most fans.
T1 and Gen.G are the two most popular teams from the LCK, with Hanwha Life and KT Rolster close behind. The recent success of these teams has established them as the top dogs, but also the most viewed teams. Now, the viewership of all LCK matches of the first 5-weeks have shown who is top dog.

With the second half of the LCK Spring Split kicking off, fans have looked back at the first five weeks. The viewership numbers speak for themselves, establishing T1 as the most popular team in the LCK and probably the world as well with how many viewers they're able to pull in on a weekly basis.
Out of 50 games played, the top 10 most viewed games all had one thing in common – T1. Every single game that Faker and company played has landed in the top 10 most viewed games, according to data from esportscharts. The most viewed game of the split was the season opener between the 2023 World Champions, T1, and the 2023 LCK Summer Split winners, Gen.G. The match raked in just under 1.2 million peak viewers. The second most viewed game was Hanwha Life against T1 with just under 940,000 peak viewers.
There is a stark difference between viewership when T1 plays and when they don't. Viewership in the top 10 hover between 800,000 and 600,000 peak viewers, with the least viewed T1 game being T1 vs. DRX on February 1, 2024.
The least viewed game of the split, as of writing this article, was OK Brion against FearX with just over 197,000 viewers. Neither of these teams have built up the same following as T1 and other top teams have so it's understandable, but there is a large canyon in viewership between the two.
