Lego Fortnite: How To Craft A Compass
In the vast world of Lego Fortnite, you can quickly lose your orientation and may not always want to open your map. In that case, it doesn't hurt to have a compass with you! Because when you craft a compass, you don't need a map anymore!
The item adds simple navigation to the HUD and tells you which direction you are facing.
You unlock the recipe for the compass by adding glass to your inventory and having a workbench in the world. Logically, you also craft the compass at a workbench.
Here, you distinguish between the Basic Compass and the Survival Compass. The difference from the Basic Compass is, the Survival Compass also displays map markers in addition to HUD navigation. Here's how you craft the two compasses:
- Basic Compass: 2x Glass, 1x Claw
- Survival Compass: 5x Glass, 1x Sand Claw, 1x Copper Bar
Glass, in turn, is a new material in Fortnite that you craft in the Metal Smelter. For 1 glass, you need 2x Sand and 1x Brightcore.
Once you have crafted a compass, you need to equip it in your inventory in a Charm | Equipment Slot in order to use it.
