LoL: Malignance – Build And Stats

For a legendary item, Malignance is one of the cheaper ones with 2,800 gold. Despite its low price, it grants mages all stats, which are important for them, including Ability Power, Mana and Ability Haste. On top of that, you receive two great Passives: Scorn and Hatefog. Scorn grants you 20 Ultimate Haste, meanwhile Hatefog burns the ground beneath your opponents if you use your Ultimate and reduce their Magic Resist by 1-18, depending on your current level.

To build Malignance, you'll need the following items:

  • Lost Chapter (items + 200 gold = 1,200 gold)
    • Amplifying Tome (400 gold)
    • Sapphire Crystal (350 gold)
    • Glowing Mote (250 gold)
  • Fiendish Codex (items + 250 gold = 900 gold)
    • Amplifying Tome (400 gold)
    • Glowing Mote (250 gold)
  • 700 gold

Champions That Should Build Malignance

Champions that really shine with Malignance are champs, who rely on their R. Good examples are Swain, Fiddlesticks or Malzahar, capable of winning teamfights with a click of a button.

Ahri or Seraphine are also great with this new item. Ahri can burn the ground at least 3 times by castin her R, meanwhile Seraphine makes sure that her enemies stand beneath the burned ground with her Ultimate and E, chain-CC'ing her opponents.
