The Shopify Rebellion roster for the 2024 season is going to include some pretty familar faces, especially in the bot and top lane. These are names everyone who has followed the LCS the last few years has heard before, which could earn the org a quick fan following.
- Top Lane: Aaron "FakeGod" Lee
- Jungle: Lee "Bugi" Seong-yeop
- Mid Lane: David "Insanity" Challe
- Bot Lane: Ju "Bvoy" Yeong-hoon
- Support: Tristan "Zeyzal" Stidam
FakeGod has been a player that many LCS fans have kept their eyes on. He's played on 100 Thieves back in 2019 and was part of Disguised esports throughout the second half of 2023, so him making it back to the LCS is going to get fans pretty hyped.
Zeyzal, is probably the most well-known on the team thanks to his time on Cloud9, making him the most recognizable player on the roster. He was also part of Disguised esports this summer, meaning he will ave good synergy with FakeGod as well.
Insanity and Bugi were a part of the 2023 TSM roster. They're keeping some players from the team whose spot they've taken in the LCS this year which is also nice to see and they should have some synergy as well from playing together in the previous year.
Bvoy has been all over the place, playing on JDG back in 2018 before moving to the LEC in 2019 and then moving to the LLA and CBLoL. Now it's time for him to also have a try at the LCS to complete Exodia.
Overall, this is looking like a solid roster. With the LCS shrinking to 8-teams it'll be interesting to see where Shopify Rebellion land.
