The 2024 World Championship is going to be taking place in three different cities. An official blog post from Riot Games has revealed that the tournament is returning to Berlin, Paris and London in 2024 with some exciting tournament days ahead.
- Play-In Stage: Riot Games Arena in Berlin
- Swiss Stage: Riot Games Arena
- Quarter Finals: Adidas Arena in Paris
- Semi Finals: Adidas Arena in Paris
- Finals: O2 Arena in London
These are all the locations for the 2024 World Championship. Riot is remodeling their LEC studio to turn it into the home for esports in Europe, with new smart technology which will be able to seamlessly switch between TFT, VALORANT and League of Legends esports, so it'll be insane to see what Riot does with the arena for an event as big as Worlds.
LoL Worlds 2024 Dates
While there are no specific dates for the different stages of the event, we do know that Worlds is going to kick off on September 25, with the final being held on November 2, 2024. The 2023 World Championship had huge viewership and the upgrade to the format truly helped.
It'll be interesting to see what Riot is going to be doing in 2024 and how they are going to be changing the format after the initial run of the Swiss Stage in 2023. There should be some improvements, but the Swiss Stage is here to stay and fans couldn't be more excited.
