EA FC 24: OTW Leaks, Predictions & Release Date For FIFA 24

Traditionally, the Ones To Watch cards are one of the first promos of a new game. For EA Sports FC 24, which takes over and replaces FIFA 24, we can look forward to some OP OTW cards. Some real megastars have moved on to other clubs, many good players unfortunately followed the call of money from Saudi Arabia.

OTWs are especially interesting at the beginning of a FUT season, as it always takes a while for their upgrades to arrive and increase their OVR. Hopefully, EA will think about giving the OTW cards a new structure. The upgrades have always been too weak, which is why these cards have become obsolete far too quickly.

EA FC 24: OTW Release Date

The Ones To Watch promo could kick off on October 20 this season.

For a long time we were not sure if we would get an OTW campaign at all, as it is usually the very first promo of a new Ultimate Team season. New leaks show the fresh card design for EA FC 24 – and almost confirm the upcoming release of Ones to Watch. But first, we'll be seeing the Trailblazers campaign.

Ones to Watch Upgrades & Explanation In FIFA 24

Ones to Watch (OTW) players are those who have moved to a new club over the summer and are under particular scrutiny at their new clubs.

These cards can be upgraded when the player earns an In Form (IF) card, for each Team of the Week nomination. A Man of the Match card can also boost stats, although EA often refrains from giving these to OTW players.

In FIFA 23 we saw the introduction of "Wins to Watch" upgrades, which required the OTW player's team to win three out of their first eight league games. During the World Cup, additional upgrades were available with the "Nations to Watch" feature.

We hope that EA will introduce more upgrade options this season, as there is no World Cup and previous upgrades were distributed rather late.

EA FC 24 OTW: Leaks & Predictions

No OTW card has been officially unveiled yet, but we can already pretty much predict which players will be included as Ones To Watch.

Lionel Messi, Jude Bellingham and Neymar are the most interesting ones. Messi is and remains the GOAT, but his age is showing. With his move to Inter Miami in the MLS, Messi's time will sadly come to an end (just like Ronaldo's). At least as far as playing at the very highest level is concerned.

Here is a prediction of the most important OTW cards in EA Sports FC. As soon as there are any leaks, you will find them here.

These players are among the most significant transfers in the current transfer period and are stars with a high rating in EA FC 24. EA Sports is likely to unveil two OTW teams once again. In FIFA 23, we saw a total of 20 OTW players, with two of them made available as Objectives and another two as Squad Building Challenges (SBCs).
