LoL Patch 13.22 is going to bring some major changes to League of Legends, with key champion adjustments, as well as some brand-new skins that will fire up Summoner's Rift, just in time for the World Championship finals.
LoL Patch 13.22 is going to be one of the last patches of Season 13. Riot is going to be making some big changes to the way Ranked splits are played out, with the preseason only getting added to live servers with the start of LoL Season 14, but there will still be some key adjustments.
We've seen all the changes Riot has made to the jungle, as well as some key champions like Seraphine or even K'Sante, and now they'll be adding more changes in LoL Patch 13.22.
LoL Patch 13.22: Champion Changes
Champion Buffs
Riot is going to be buffing mages as a whole. The balance team has noticed that most mage players usually pick some form of attack speed rune, which made them realize that the current attack speed of most mages is lacking.
Therefore, most mages will be getting attack speed buffs, though some like Karthus and Cassiopeia will also receive buffs they won't be as prominent as for other champions.
Along with the mage attack speed buffs two champion will be receiving some love from Riot:

Champion Nerfs
Gragas
Gragas has become a pretty popular pick thanks to the infamous 'impregnator Gragas' build which content creator SloppyWalrus has perfected and popularized. It's a troll build that focuses on getting as much Ability Haste as possible to spam his E and keep opponents permanently stuck.
This is pretty funny to watch, but for those who are stuck being perma-CC'd for a good 20 seconds – or however long Gragas has mana for – it really isn't fun to play the game, hence why Riot will be nerfing this build.
- E - Body Slam
- Cooldown Refund on Hit: 3 ⇒ 40% of remaining cooldown
- We did the math for you: 3 ⇒ 5.6/5.4/5.2/5/4.8, scaling with ability haste
- Cooldown Refund on Hit: 3 ⇒ 40% of remaining cooldown
- R - Explosive Cask
- Travel Time: 0.55 seconds ⇒ 0.5 seconds
By changing the cooldown refund to a percentage, it will mean that at later levels, Gragas' E won't be giving as much cooldown refund, meaning players won't be able to achieve a 0 cooldown on their E. This does mean however that it is stronger in the early game.
Along with Gragas a bunch of other champions will also be nerfed this patch:
Briar
- Q - Head Rush
- Physical Damage: 60/100/140/180/220 (+80% bonus AD) ⇒ 60/95/130/165/200 (+80% bonus AD)
- \Armor Reduction: 10/14/18/22/26% ⇒ 10/12.5/15/17.5/20%
- R - Certain Death
- Physical Damage: 150/325/500 (+110% bonus AD) (+110% AP) ⇒ 150/300/450 (+75% bonus AD) (+110% bonus AP)
Graves
- E - Quickdraw
- Bonus Armor per stack: 4/7/10/13/16 ⇒ 2/5/8/11/14
Kassadin
- E - Force Pulse

These are pretty strong changes that could bring Janna back to the lane with Q max instead of E max which has some players pretty excited for the upcoming changes to her kit.
Brand

System Changes In LoL Patch 13.22
Out-Of-Vision Attack Changes
On the Public Beta Environment some more information regarding out-of-vision attacks have also been added which could mean that ranged top laners will have quite the advantage in the future.
- "Out Of Vision" Attacker Reveal:
- Reveal Radius on attack: 400 ⇒ 300
- Reveal circle duration: 4.5 seconds ⇒ 2 seconds
Players will have a smaller range of vision when they are being attacked from out of vision. The reveal of the enemy attacking them has also been shortened drastically.
This means that ranged top laners should have major advantages over melee champions in the top lane with these changes that should go live in LoL Patch 13.22.
ARAM Balance Changes In LoL Patch 13.22
Riot is also going to be making a few ARAM changes in this League of Legends patch. There aren't too many adjustments this time around, with the game modes team probably working on the upcoming Arena game mode once more.
ARAM Buffs
- Lillia: Damage Taken: 110% ⇒ 105%
- Aphelios: Damage Taken: 100% ⇒ 95%
ARAM Nerfs
- K'Sante: Damage Taken: 90% ⇒ 95%

One of the things Riot have changed is the Elder Dragon buff which was a reward for a team that won one of the mini games. This Aspect of the Dragon buff has been removed from the game mode for now, since it was a little too powerful.
