With the beginning of Season 14 in League of Legends, we got tons of new items for every role. Besides mages and assassins, tanks also got a few great new items, and we're here to tell you everything you need to know about them. This time, we'll take a look at Unending Despair!
With the start of Season 14, we also got tons of new items, including for tanks. Unending Despair is one of them and grants you a lot of heals for each enemy champ in a certain radius.
Unending Despair: Stats
What else would you want as a tank than tanky stats? That's right. One of the sickest passives that are currently wandering around the Rift. Check out what the item is capable of in the following list:
- 10 AH
- 55 armor
- 400 health
- Anguish: Every 7 seconds in combat with champions, deal 30-50 (based on level)(+3% bonus health) magic damage to enemy champions within 650 units and heal yourself equal to 250% of the post-mitigation damage dealt.
Despite its nerf for its passive, going from 5 seconds to 7 seconds in combat with champions, champs with this item should not be taken lighthearted. For each additional enemy within your radius, you'll get tons of heals, letting you survive for ages in longer teamfights.

Champions That Should Build Unending Despair
Unending Despair synergizes great with Abyssal Mask and Spirit Visage. Therefore, AP tanks like Amumu are great champs who can build this item combined with the other items just mentioned. Other good examples (even if they don't build Abyssal Mask or Spirit Visage) are Mundo, Sejuani or Tahm Kench.
