Women Ultimate Team In EA Sports FC 24

The official teaser trailer for FC 24 confirms: Women and men will be on the pitch together! In the trailer, Marta and Sam Kerr, among others, can be seen walking on the pitch together with Erling Haaland, Vinicius Jr. and co. EA says in the trailer:

It dares us to take risks and we back those who do the same. All you've gotta do is play. That's what brings us closer. Closer to each other. And closer to The World's Game. These are clear words in the direction of the critics who claim that women have no place in football. EA should be celebrated for their courage to break old structures and get involved with new things. One thing is for sure: with EA FC 24, women's football will get a completely new attention worldwide.

Most recently, FIFA 23 came with the Women's Champions League and new teams. An Ultimate Team mode for women would be quite conceivable, fair and a welcome change.

EA FC 24: Men And Women Play Together In Ultimate Team

In the previous version of this article, we discussed various ways in which women in general could become a part of Ultimate Team. EA has decided in favor of men and women playing together and against a separate FUT mode for women. One reason for this is likely to be that few gamers would have played the women's UT mode.

Moreover, it would have been a big effort for the developers to program another mode. It has to be said, though, that we would have also celebrated having two different modes with overlapping rewards.

But that's not the case now, it's Women to Ultimate Team. Here we go and confirmed, as Fabrizio would say.

Women In EA FC Ultimate Team: How It Works

The women play, for the most part, in the same league structures as the men, and they have the same nationalities anyway. So it is not a big effort to put women and men in one Ultimate Team. Women and men give each other chemistry points through their nation.

The same applies to a country's leagues, for example, male and female players in the Bundesliga can be linked. Clubs that are represented in both leagues, such as FC Bayern Munich or VfL Wolfsburg, benefit from an extra chemistry boost.

In this way, the female players get a big stage, which raises their profile in the community. The world's best female players should get the same rating as the best players in men's football. This way there wouldn't be such a one-sided meta as in FIFA 23, where you play against Mbappé and Ronaldinho in every game of the Weekend League.

Now it only remains to be seen how "good" the female players will be in EA FC 24. In theory, most of the women should have a player model that would fit perfectly into FIFA 23's current meta. We can even imagine that some of the female players will be really OP.

Whoever now claims that it is unrealistic when Sam Kerr has the same rating as Kylian Mbappé and pushes away a Virgil van Dijk in a one-on-one, should be told that it is just as unrealistic when Pelé and Mo Salah are on the same team. FIFA, or EA FC 24, is and remains a game.

Women In FUT: Icons And Heroes Confirmed

There would be so many variations to make women essential for the mode. There are objectives with good rewards, for which you require a female team. Or tasks for token swaps. A separate Weekend League with women only. There are no limits to creativity here.

In whatever form – we are curious to see how EA will integrate women into Ultimate Team. In any case, they shouldn't just leave women's football on the sidelines anymore.
